 Barbara
McCloskey
Barbara McCloskey is the Membership Program Manager for
The Land Conservancy of New Jersey. She joined the staff in 2002.
She is responsible for all aspects of the Membership
program -- now at 1500 members and growing. Barbara also
handles Public Relations for the Conservancy, keeping
abreast of all activities to ensure land deals, projects
and any newsworthy events are reported to the newspapers
on a regular basis. She has greatly increased the
Conservancy’s visibility with more than 100 articles
appearing in the press yearly. Barbara
has a
BA in Consumer Affairs from Montclair State University
and has been a member of the New Jersey State Federation
of Women’s Clubs since 1987, holding various Club &
District positions such as Membership, Conservation &
Education Chairman and Public Relations coordinator.
She also served four terms as President of the Woman’s
Club of Denville
